A Note on Theme Weeks
Each theme week is assigned to a different team of staff on camp. The members of these teams work together to determine how this theme will be implemented. The team may decide on such things as character involvement, plot line, campfire skits, all camp games, meal time music, costumes, theme days, and more. Much of this planning is completed the week prior to the teams’ assigned theme week. For this reason, it is difficult to provide details to campers about their session’s theme week in advance. We would encourage campers to use their imagination and feel free to bring anything appropriate that they think may fit within their session’s theme. Camp is a great place to dress up, play and imagine. If your camper has a favorite costume that has seemingly nothing to do with the theme, that’s no reason not to bring it along. No matter the theme week, our forever theme at Camp Collins is Be Who You Want To Be!
